Waterproof. Ultra-durable. UV resistant. Transparent. Shock and scratch proof. Bendy. Non-stick. Insulating. Conductive. Every day, we use objects with seemingly magical properties (you could even say superpowers) – which make life that much easier and more convenient.
But there’s a big BUT.
Many of these benefits come at a price to our health and the environment. Carbon emissions, plastic islands, massive PFAS contamination, the harmful effects of VOCs and dioxins. The list seems to grow a little longer every day. The path we’re on is unsustainable, putting our ecosystems and even life on Earth in danger.
That’s why waiting is no longer an option. And action is required.
Because materials can also be part of the solution. Using the waste we generate and zero-carbon biomass organic matter that decomposes quickly and safely. Creating materials that can be recycled easily. Contributing to a circular economy and with minimal carbon impact.
Because materials can retain the super-properties that make them so useful, without putting people or planet at risk.
